Rush Your Year-End Gift ([link removed])
When it comes to supporting helpless animals, friend, your generosity is nothing short of a lifeline.
Because of you, we’ve secured significant victories in our fight to protect and save animals this year. But we have a lot of work ahead of us in 2025 to not only continue to stand up and fight to end cruelty and abuse but to protect all the important gains we’ve made—and we’re counting on your support to fuel our efforts.
So please, will you make your year-end gift of $20 or more today to help us reach our $100,000 goal? Every dollar will help to end animal suffering and secure protections for millions of animals. ([link removed])

If you’re wondering how your donation to the Humane Society Legislative Fund makes a difference, just take a look at what we accomplished together this past year:
* The U.S. Department of Justice announced that Inotiv has to pay more than $35 million for violations that occurred at a facility that bred dogs for use in animal testing—including an $11 million fine for violating the Animal Welfare Act. Our affiliate, the Humane Society of the United States led the effort to remove the dogs from the facility as well as coordinate the placement of these dogs with shelter and rescue partners so they could become loving and loved companion animals.
* The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service finalized critical trade protections for African elephants—an endangered species imperiled by poaching and habitat encroachment.
* The National Park Service banned the use of bait such as piles of donuts, dog food and meat scraps to attract and kill brown and black bears on Alaska’s national preserves.
* The National Institutes of Health announced they will finally be moving 23 chimpanzees who were previously used in painful biomedical experiments to Chimp Haven sanctuary where they belong.
* The U.S. Department of Agriculture finalized a rule that will help to finally end the cruel act of horse soring—which involves the very intentional infliction of pain and suffering on Tennessee walking horses and related breeds in the show world.
These triumphs in the fight for animals wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity of supporters like you. So as we look to all of the work ahead of us in 2025 and beyond, we’re counting on you to be by our side.
So many animals need our help, and your support will help us fight for commonsense protections that these animals need. So please, make your year-end gift now to make sure we have the resources we need to save and protect animals in the new year. ([link removed])
