Asia Pacific
Join us in praying for 21 Indonesian trafficking survivors returned home from Myanmar. Recruited with the promise of jobs in Thailand, these individuals were kidnapped, forced to scam online and subjected to various forms of physical violence. We pray for their physical and emotional recovery as they return home, and pray for rescue for thousands more trapped in forced scamming.
Africa & Europe
Pray for survivors of trafficking, sexual abuse, domestic violence and police brutality whom we serve in the Africa & Europe region. Please pray that we continue to put the best interest of the survivors that God put in our care first, and that we can support authorities to achieve justice in their cases. For many of our programs, lengthy and frustrating trial processes cause distress and even deter victims from continuing to pursue the case. Pray that trials will be shorter and have quicker results for survivors.
Latin America
Pray for over 180 judicial counselors that will meet this week in Peru during a national meeting. Earlier this year, these women took a training provided by IJM and the public justice system to become judicial counselors. Now, after receiving their accreditation, they will participate in workshops and other activities designed to improve access to justice services for victims of violence. Please pray God to bring wisdom and grace to their conversations and decisions.
South Asia
Please pray for our relationships with senior government agencies in South Asia. Most of IJM’s work takes place at the grassroots level with local officials, but we need equal support and buy-in with senior authorities, too. Many of their activities slow down at year end, but we still need their approval on some key documents required for us to combat trafficking effectively. Pray for favor as we try to close this year well.

Please join us in praying for the final days of fundraising in 2024. We ask for peace and trust in God as we close out our work and look to the year ahead. We also pray for a time of rest for colleagues taking the time off at the end of the year.
