It was a breakthrough year for clean water, and we need your help to Start 2025 Strong! With impending threats to our clean water protections, we cannot afford to lose the momentum we gained in 2024, including landmark victories such as:
Securing the first-ever PFAS drinking water standards;
Strengthening protections by reducing toxic pollution and greenhouse gas emissions from coal-fired power plants; and
Partnering with Puget Soundkeeper and Spokane Riverkeeper to successfully advocate for the inclusion of an amendment on 6PPD—a rubber additive in vehicle tires that breaks down into a dangerous aquatic toxin—in U.S. federal legislation.
We made positive progress but your support was truly missed. As new threats to our waterways continue to rise, we need your help more than ever.
Together, we can create more impact by strengthening our legal defenses against attempts to weaken environmental laws, mobilizing our global water movement to demand stronger protections, and equipping local Waterkeeper groups with the tools they need to protect their communities from climate and pollution threats.
