With Trump’s inauguration looming and his threats to cut Social Security and Medicare, enact a nationwide abortion ban, and rig the economy for the ultra-wealthy, so much is at stake.

Trump and his allies would love nothing more than for the millions of people who voted against him to give up and back down.

We can’t — and won’t — do that. But the work ahead will not be easy. It’s going to take all of us coming together to hold him and his allies accountable, and stop the worst impulses of a Trump administration and an emboldened Republican Party under his control.
