John, your generosity saved Emilia’s life.

When 70-year-old Emilia was hospitalized in Edinburg, Texas, her family faced an unimaginable situation.
Doctors tried to convince them that their mother wasn’t worth treating.

From the start, it was clear this wasn’t a medical issue—it was a battle for Emilia’s life. The doctors didn’t question whether the treatment was working, but questioned whether Emilia’s life mattered.

Emilia landed in the hospital after suffering complications from her dialysis. She was conscious and even smiled when she heard her family’s voices.

But here’s the thing: As eager as the hospital was to stop Emilia’s treatment, they couldn’t.

Last year, we passed a new law to block hospitals from withdrawing life-sustaining treatment against a patient’s will if they’re conscious.

Since the hospital knew they couldn’t take away treatment themselves, they resorted to pressuring and manipulating Emilia’s family.
But her daughter, Evelyn, had hope in Jesus and trusted God’s timing. Evelyn called Texas Right to Life to fight for her mother. We provided a Pro-Life attorney and helped them transfer Emilia to a facility that would honor her wishes.

For a few more weeks, Emilia’s family enjoyed special moments with her—holding her hand, sharing their love, and saying their goodbyes until the Lord brought Emilia to Eternal Life.

Will you chip in to our Pro-Life ministry before our big December 31 deadline?

You can help us serve patients on the front lines, teach future Pro-Life doctors and lawyers about important issues like this, and strengthen our laws so every person is valued.
If you’re not convicted yet, just read what Evelyn had to say:

I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude to you and your team for the incredible support and guidance you provided during one of the most challenging times in our lives. When we were feeling hopeless and overwhelmed by the pressure from doctors to disconnect my mother from life support, your compassion and swift action were a true blessing.

As Christians, we firmly believe that life is in God’s hands, and the decision should be according to His will, not man’s. Your willingness to stand by us and advocate for our beliefs gave us strength and hope when we needed it most. You were truly God-sent angels and an answer to our prayers.

Words cannot describe the immense relief we felt after our first conversation with you. Your understanding, professionalism, and determination to protect our rights were nothing short of extraordinary. It was a comfort to know that we were not alone, and your dedication allowed us to focus on what mattered most—being there for my mother and honoring her life.

I also want to extend my deep gratitude to the donors who make it possible for organizations like yours to fight for causes that align with faith and dignity. Their generosity and commitment to justice have made a profound difference in our lives and the lives of so many others.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being there for us and for your unwavering support. You are in our prayers, and we will forever be grateful for your kindness and advocacy.
