As you know, 2024 has been a troubling year for refugees and displaced people worldwide, marked by wars, ethnic cleansing, and immense suffering. Unfortunately, 2025 is expected to bring even more complexity for the world’s most vulnerable families, both within and beyond our borders. USCRI will remain committed to our vision and principles, ensuring that immigrants, refugees, and uprooted people live dignified lives with their rights respected and protected.
As I shared after the presidential election, we will face multifaceted challenges in the coming months. However, having learned from our past experiences, we will double our efforts to be a formidable vocal advocate for humane and compassionate refugee and immigrant policy with the incoming administration. You can count on us to always prioritize what is best for the families and children we are entrusted to protect, welcome, and empower.
Again, thank you for your generosity and commitment at this urgent and monumental time.
With much appreciation,
Eskinder Negash
President and CEO
P.S. Thank you for standing with us and for your timely support of USCRI.
