2024 has been one for the books. Whether it be because of historical elections, the passage of conservative legislation in the states, assassination attempts on a presidential candidate, or pivotal decisions from the Supreme Court, the past 12 months will be remembered for a long time.

In the thick of it all were Heritage Action grassroots, who wreaked havoc on the plans of the Left and made new gains in advancing common sense, conservative policy. There is a lot that could be written about what was accomplished, but here is a brief recap.

Just because the power of the federal government was stacked against the American people doesn’t mean conservatives can’t get things done. States across the country took the initiative and made policies that will better the lives of their people, without having to wait on Washington D.C.

In total, Heritage Action helped get 60 new laws passed in 19 different states. These laws made advances in:

  • Countering the CCP and Fighting ESG (5 states, 7 bills)
  • Education Freedom (8 states, 10 bills, 1 constitutional amendment)
  • Election Integrity (14 states, 21 bills, 5 constitutional amendments)
  • Fighting Illegal Immigration (6 states, 5 bills)
  • Protecting Life and the Family (11 states, 11 bills)
  • Fighting the Overreach of Big Tech (9 states, 9 bills)

Heritage Action hosted three Summits across the country for our Sentinels to attend. With each Sentinel Summit (Arizona, Georgia, Washington, D.C.) hundreds of Sentinels got the chance to hear directly from leaders in the conservative movement, Heritage policy experts, and to network with fellow activists.

Heritage Action is dedicated to making it easy to vote, and hard to cheat. One of the best ways to do this is to equip the people on the ground with the knowledge and confidence to work the polls on election day and to be able to spot any suspicious activity.

During this election cycle, Heritage Action:

  • Hosted 107 poll worker trainings
  • Trained 2,984 poll workers and watchers
  • Helped pass over 20 pieces of legislation to strengthen election integrity in 14 states

Heritage Action also invested $1.8 million in a strategic voter registration drive in Arizona and Georgia to pinpoint the issues Americans care about, register citizens to vote, and then make sure these new voters showed up on Election Day.

That money resulted in:

  • Over 240,000 doors knocked
  • Over 10 million digital impressions
  • Over 3.5 million text messages sent
  • Over 80,000 new voters registered

The work to continue securing our elections for the next cycle must still continue. Many states still have room for improvement and we are ready to help them make those changes.

Heritage Action was active on Capitol Hill issuing 10 Senate Key Votes and 13 House of Representatives Key Votes. These votes are used to score elected officials so that you can track their voting record and bring accountability to your Senators and Representatives.

The grassroots also engaged in pushing back against the Biden-Harris administrative state, submitting over 36,937 public comments in opposition to regulations such as a Title IX redefinition of “sex” and student loan bailouts.

Heritage Action amplified the voice of the conservative grassroots in the national conversation and laid the groundwork for a high achieving 119th Congress.
