Fight for $15
**************************
John,
This morning, I told McDonald's shareholders what it's like in their stores -- people are getting sick from COVID-19, some clinging to life on a ventilator -- and the Chairman of McDonald's Board of Directors SILENCED me. He muted my phone and cut me off.
McDonald's is putting our lives on the line and they don't even have the respect to hear what it's like in their stores. Coronavirus is killing those of us in Black and Brown communities at higher rates -- places me and my coworkers live.
Every single one of us that wears the McDonald's uniform should have protective equipment, sick days, hazard pay, and a Union -- NOW.
Hear what happened on the call and share -- no matter where McDonald's turns, we need them to hear our message loud and clear.

If they hadn't cut me off, I would have told them what it's really like to work in their stores: I'm terrified every day that I'll catch coronavirus at work and bring it home to my fiance and three girls.
McDonald's has been failing us for a long time. Low pay means sometimes I skip meals to make sure my girls can eat. I had to move into my sister-in-law's basement to be able to pay the bills -- I don't know what I would do if I got sick.
We don't win as workers because politicians or companies decide out of the goodness of their hearts. We win because we stand together, build power and force companies like McDonald's to listen to our demands.
That's why thousands of McDonald's cooks and cashiers walked off the job yesterday.
That's why we're letting McDonald's know that we won't be ignored.
That's why we need your help to amplify the demand for PPE, sick days, and hazard pay on Facebook right now >>

We won't let McDonald's or Donald Trump stand in our way. Not today, not ever.
