This means more than 1 in 5 American babies this year are missing their first birthday, their first or second Christmas, and all the celebrations they would have experienced in the future.
It also means we are missing the joy of these people in our lives.
Think about the family and friends you just spent Christmas with. Now imagine 1 out of every 5 of them… gone. This is the reality for 1 million families this year.
Without names and photographs to remember them by, it can be easy to forget the innocent lives lost to abortion, but that’s why we must make the effort to take a stand for these children and those who may fall victim to the same fate. Future generations will keep shrinking unless we do something ([link removed] ) to change minds and save lives right now.
John, I know this is a heavy topic in the middle of two joyous celebrations, but I feel deeply compelled to cast a vision for what the reality of abortion means for times of celebrations like these.
Celebrations are made meaningful by spending them with our loved ones, but abortion steals those loved ones.
That’s why Live Action is urgently creating daily content that sheds light on the humanity of preborn children, cuts through the lies of the abortion industry, and provides hope for parents and families who are considering abortion.
Being a parent is not easy, but it is one of the most meaningful things any of us will ever have the chance to do. When I think about the joy I experienced on Christmas morning with my wife and daughter, it deepens my desire to help other parents experience the same joys.
I’m incredibly excited about our projects to change minds and save lives in 2025. But I also know that we cannot move forward without the generous support of fellow believers like you. Here are three main pending projects:
- Baby Oliver and the accompanying “All Systems Go” animation will help bring the humanity of preborn babies to life in new detail for children and adults alike — reaching not only women facing unplanned pregnancies and those who influence them but also the next generation.
- The North Star Society will train up-and-coming influencers and thought-leaders to be pro-life warriors in their respective fields, multiplying our impact for life, reclaiming institutions that pro-abortion narratives have captured, and providing role models for teens and young adults.
- And, our “Face to Face” video series expansion. Our recorded “Face to Face” conversations force individuals of all ages to confront what a pro-abortion position means, stripping away all of the euphemisms and propaganda.
Candidly, I just found out we are tracking behind on our supporters this year versus last year. If we don’t close this gap soon, we may be unable to complete and launch these critical initiatives in the new year. Too many are sitting on the sidelines, and we’re losing over 2,800 babies every day as a result.
