I'm Dr. Jesse Berry and I work at Children's Hospital Los Angeles as the Director of Ocular Oncology and the Retinoblastoma Program.

I specialize in treating retinoblastoma, which is a rare form of eye cancer that affects children under age 5. I'm writing to share some exciting news with you. I discovered a new way to safely biopsy the eye in the setting of retinoblastoma using a liquid biopsy approach. This avoids a large surgery and allows us to diagnose these tumors with a pea size amount of fluid from the eye.
