First, when we say “we” - we mean You and our Texas Values Action organization, and the awesome candidates! With your help, dedication, and loyalty we can do so much together! And there is no doubt that Senator Cruz and many other elected officials were in serious trouble and close to losing their elections, until supporters like you showed up!! Also, Texas Values Action was more active this election year and cycle than any other!! And the Senator Cruz race was one we spent a lot of time, effort, and resources on!! We used our powerful side-by-side graphic and blog post to show voters the difference, and we launched our IVoterGuide tool for the entire state to use! We are the top IVoterGuide partner for Texas and through our website, emails, radio ads and events, this tool was the most widely used voter guides on values issues on the state!! We even had a Texas Values board member appear in one of Senator Ted Cruz' advertisements.
Our work to empower you as a voter and to advocate for your values is only possible with your donation!! Please donate now for our advocacy work so we can focus our lobbying efforts in just a few weeks at the Texas Capitol!! It is much more difficult to raise money for lobbying and advocacy efforts. We will be endorsing local election candidate for school board and city council races in May of 2025.
We also proudly to endorsed both former president Donald J. Trump and Senator Ted Cruz early on along with so many other amazing candidates. Our President Jonathan Saenz was selected as an RNC Delegate and was able to officially cast a vote in favor of Donald Trump receiving the party nomination in July of this year. Jonathan has also been officially invited to attend the Inauguration of President Donald Trump and Jonathan will be meeting with elected officials and conducting media interviews for Texans on January 20, 2025.
President Trump won by a sizable margin, receiving over 56 percent of the vote to Kamala Harris’ 42 percent! Senator Ted Cruz beat Colin Allred 53 – 44! These are not small margins which means that Texas cares about faith, family, and freedom!
The Democrats spent $500 million to try and unseat Senator Ted Cruz and promote leftist policies. Texas Values Action worked tirelessly to combat these efforts. On the statewide level, all candidates endorsed by Texas Values Action prevailed, including Texas Supreme Court Justices John Devine and Jimmy Blacklock and Railroad Commissioner Christi Craddick.

These are huge victories which will make a notable impact as the Texas Values Action team prepares for its upcoming 89th legislative session! UP NEXT! The Texas Legislative Session begins on January 14, 2025 and we area already getting ready! We are focusing on making sure we have a better Texas Speaker of the House, now that Rep. Dade Phelan has decided not to run for re-election to be the Speaker. We believe that Rep. David Cook is the best choice to be Speaker of the House, in line with Texas House Republican Caucus rules.
