And this piece was a highlight of 2024 for me: It’s about a woman whose marriage is quickly – like before her very eyes – turning polyamorous, only she doesn’t really recall consenting to it. Let’s face it: New Year’s resolutions are the absolute worst. And while this piece is a few years old, it still holds water: It argues just that. CJ Kelsey says that resolutions only set you up to fail and, in turn, you feel even worse about yourself. So why bother in the first place?
