While we're still able to 5X match your tax-deductible, year-end gift, I wanted to share a few projects that really speak to the power of people coming together—you among them, Friend—to protect incredible outdoor spaces that benefit us all:

Sierra Buttes: The majestic Sierra Buttes are a dramatic backdrop to the Northern Sierra's "Lakes Basin"—but a history of mining has left the land in a fragmented checkerboard pattern of public and private ownership.

Thanks to supporters like you, Trust for Public Land has purchased more than 800 acres at the heart of the Buttes that will be managed by the Sierra County Land Trust. Make a 5X matched gift to help expand access to this special place >>

Zion National Park: Zion National Park is a true testament to the wonder of nature. But even this protected haven is not without its challenges.

Zion National Park welcomes over 5 million visitors each year, making it the second most visited national park in the U.S. Unfortunately, its popularity has made it vulnerable to development both inside and outside park boundaries, which could threaten access to its iconic trails.

Trust for Public Land has secured public access to the world-famous Zion Narrows Trail, but it could easily be compromised by private landowners if we don't protect it. Your 5X matched gift today could help ensure we secure even more public access to parks like this >>

North of Highland Camping Area, Cape Cod: The North of Highland Camping Area offers 237 pine-shaded campsites at a reasonable cost for families—but it recently came under the threat of sale and development.

Trust for Public Land, the Association to Preserve Cape Cod, and other groups led a grassroots effort to protect the campground, ultimately ensuring that future generations of visitors to Cape Cod National Seashore will be able to pitch a tent only a short walk from the beach. Your 5X matched gift can enable us to work with partners and protect even more coastal wilderness >>

5X MATCH MY GIFT

With more than 300 active projects like these just waiting for more resources to push them forward, think of what an impact you'll make when your gift will go 5X further today.

The next inspiring project we work on is waiting for your 5X matched support. While there's still time, help us continue to bring people together outdoors with a 5X matched gift and receive an exclusive tote bag as our thanks >>

Thank you,

Joshua VanDavier

Director of Membership

P.S. We do our best not to send appeals to members who just made a gift, but sometimes our records don't update fast enough to keep recent donors from receiving an appeal like this. So, if you did just give, thank you for your support, and our apologies for the extra appeal!
