As 2024 comes to a close, we at Power to Decide are reflecting on the incredible progress we’ve made in advancing sexual and reproductive well-being for all, despite the myriad of challenges presented. 

Your support has been the driving force behind our efforts. Here’s what we accomplished together in the past year:

• Marked the release of Opill, the first FDA approved over-the-counter daily oral contraceptive pill.
• Held our first retreat with our Beyond the Sheets ambassadors, a new initiative to empower young people at Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
• Published our inaugural Youth Reproductive Health Access Survey, a national survey measuring young people’s knowledge, attitudes, and experiences related to sexual and reproductive health. 
• Launched Bedsider’s redesigned Method Explorer, refining how we present birth control information to ensure it’s clear, understandable, and actionable for all users.
• Celebrated our 12th annual Thanks, Birth Control Day, bringing in over 19.6 million engagements across social media.
