It's easy to look at the 2024 results and be discouraged. To throw up your hands and say “I'm done.” “It's all just too much.” “The system is broken.”
That's how autocrats win. They exhaust you. They get you to stop paying attention. They wear you down.
You're not alone.
This year, our pro-America, pro-decency, pro-democracy coalition was powered by over 100,000 of you reading this email. That means 300,000 actions promoted, leading to over 1 million volunteer shifts!
And MAGA candidates defeated up and down the ballot.
Without Union volunteers in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Nevada, we probably lose those Senate seats. Without Union volunteers in critical House races in California, New York, and across the country, we definitely lose those seats. And yes - Trump won the Presidency - but he's in for four years of us calling out his every move and making sure voters have no choice but to see through the lies.
We were effective, together, because you did the work. You weren't part of some ineffective TV buys or overconfident campaign strategy. You were the boots on the ground actually doing the work to win where democracy needed you most.

So as we go into 2025, remember that we're going to continue being the “Action Coalition.” We’re not part of a party. We don't have to listen to the whims or egos of the powers that be. We’re here to do the work.
We're building a true pro-democracy coalition where efficiency and effectiveness are what rule the day. If it doesn't work, we're not doing it - and we're not asking you to do it. And believe me, there's plenty of work to do that will make MAGA feel the pain after their next two years of incompetence.
We're back to work after the holidays. Ready to go in Virginia and New Jersey and Wisconsin and beyond in 2025.
