New Webinar - U.S. Report on Child Trafficking: Civil Society's Role in Monitoring and Action

In parallel with Human Trafficking Awareness Month, the webinar will highlight the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child's Optional Protocol on the Sale and Sexual Exploitation of Children (which the U.S. has ratified), the most recent U.S. Government's Report to the UN Committee, and PACT's NGO response to the U.S. Report. Learn about existing initiatives by the U.S. government to prevent child trafficking, NGO partners’ recommendations, and Civil Society’s contributions monitoring States’ obligations to implement measures that prevent children from being trafficked.

PACT recently interviewed with Reuters ([link removed]) regarding suspected child sexual abuse material (CSAM) found on OnlyFans. This investigation prompted OnlyFans to take down all of the photos that appear to be of underage teenagers. “It creates a demand for younger and younger bodies,” said Lori Cohen. “This type of behavior normalizes pedophilia.”
