It’s been an eventful year in our nation’s politics, to say the least. As Democrats, we are disappointed by the result at the top of the ticket — and we’re committed to doing everything we can to push back against policies that go against our New Mexico values. At the same time, we have reason to celebrate here in the Land of Enchantment — we re-elected our entire Democratic congressional delegation and our strong majorities in the Legislature. Over 40 Emerge New Mexico alums won their races across our state at all levels of government — and we’re determined to carry that momentum forward into the new year as we build a sustained movement that goes beyond any one election cycle.
