For all the animals... We need your support today

Dear friend,

You know that our work is important. Tackling factory farming. Laboratory animal testing. Dogfighting and cockfighting. Ruthless killing of mountain lions and wolves.

Only through strategic and collective action can we turn around these problems and shield animals from cruelty.

We are on the front lines of the fight to end animal cruelty. We don’t just treat the symptoms — we tackle the root causes. By advocating for stronger legislation, holding corporations accountable, and promoting cruelty-free alternatives, we’re building a world where no animal has to endure pain and suffering for profit.

This year alone:

1) We blocked the EATS Act in Congress again, allowing key state laws (e.g., Prop 12 in California and Question 3 in Massachusetts) to take hold and to provide better living conditions for pigs, hens, and other farm animals.

2) Also on the farm animal confinement front, we prevailed again in federal court to protect implementation of a key farm animal protection law, with the court holding that Question 3, passed by Massachusetts voters in 2016, is not preempted by federal law.

3) We attracted massive law enforcement support for the FIGHT Act so that we can pass the measure in Congress and dismantle animal fighting operations based in the United States but which have tentacles that reach to Mexico, the Philippines, Vietnam, and other nations across the world.

4) We worked deeply inside the U.S. Senate to pass the FDA Modernization Act 3.0, with the House poised to follow, in our quest to turn the page on the era of animal testing in drug development.

These victories are only possible because of supporters like you. But the fight isn’t over. For every law we pass, there are others waiting to be strengthened. For every practice we change, there are others still causing harm. And for every animal saved, there are countless more in need.

Your donation today can:

  • Help us lobby for new laws that prioritize animal welfare.

  • Fund campaigns to expose and eliminate cruel practices.

  • Support the development of cruelty-free solutions in drug-testing that make compassion the norm.

When you give to us, you’re not just making a donation, you’re making a statement: compassion and justice matter, and you won’t stand for cruelty in any form.

Every dollar counts. Whether it’s $10, $50, or $100, your contribution fuels the fight to create lasting change for animals everywhere. And thanks to a generous donor, every gift made before midnight Dec. 31 will be **matched dollar-for-dollar** up to $40,000 — doubling your impact.

The cruelty we confront is durable. The government systems overseeing cruelty are rigged. But with your help, we can use citizen action to compel change. We can dismantle the architecture of cruelty and build kinder, more compassionate structures in our society.
