I know the last couple months haven’t been easy, John, and I hope you’ve had enough time to catch your breath.

Because a whole new ballgame starts in just a few days.

Democrats are going to be fighting from the minority in the House (and Senate), and while this definitely isn’t what we were hoping for, we still have agency.

We can still make a difference.

The GOP is feeling emboldened by their recent victories, and they’re already pushing bad policies and dangerous rhetoric.

They’re talking about rounding up and deporting millions of immigrants.

They want to pass a national abortion ban.

They want to gut Social Security, Medicare, and other critical social safety nets.

They want to give a massive tax cut to corporations and the ultra wealthy.

Although Democrats are in the minority, the GOP’s majority is so narrow that their margin for error is almost zero — which gives us leverage.

I’m committed to pushing back against the worst aspects of the GOP’s platform, but we need resources to keep up the fight. Will you chip in $25 toward our $25,000 End-of-Year FEC goal to help us fight back?
