Hello John, and happy holidays!

In just a few short days, I look forward to being inaugurated as North Carolina’s 76th Governor. I couldn’t have gotten to this point without your support and faith in me — but now is when the hard work begins.

I’m still counting on you to help us achieve the brighter future North Carolina deserves. We have a critical financial filing deadline on the 31st — the first big fundraising test since our election — and our goal is $50,000. I didn’t want to bother you with this over the holidays, but our finance team determined we’re not yet where we need to be on this target.

Look, we have big plans. To make significant investments in public schools and teachers to level the playing field for students, work to restore reproductive freedom, and ensure North Carolinians can access the health care they need, I’ll need you by my side.

Unfortunately, it’s clear that Republican legislators want to prioritize political games over getting things done. They are even attempting to hinder our efforts before we even get started.
