We do this work because of our deep belief that a better world is possible, where the rights of all are respected and the people live in peace. ANSWER chapters in dozens of cities and towns work around the clock to build major mobilizations and hold engaging educational activities. Over the last year, our efforts have of course been focused on opposing U.S. financing and arming of Israeli genocide against Palestinians. We went all out to help mobilize the hundreds of thousands for national marches as well as nationally-coordinated days of action.
We’re continuing to mobilize against the genocide in Gaza and demanding an end to all U.S. aid to Israel. As Trump enters the White House for the second time, there is an urgent need to intensify building the grassroots movement for peace and social justice in the United States. The ever-expanding military-industrial complex creates the basis for an even larger global confrontation and war. The stakes could not be higher.
We will always be there to carry on the fight against the war makers. No matter what shape the coming struggle takes, we are determined to take a principled stand for the right of the people of the world to determine their own destiny independently and in peace.
