Y'all,
It feels so right to be ending this year with you. In American Detox: The Myth of Wellness and How We Can Truly Heal, I wrote about emergence:
“The language of emergence is listening, allowing oneself to always be moved and changed, tuning in to the wisdom that is beyond words and language. And remembering—always remembering that we are not the first and we will not be the last. There will always be those who came before us and those who are yet to come. Time is not linear, which means we are the past, present, and future. We are the ancestors and we are descendants. We are the teachers and we are the students. We are the end of one thing and the beginning of another.”
I know many folks are struggling to make sense of this moment and how we prepare ourselves for what is next. These spaces of coming together in shared practice and action have been essential in helping me build the capacity and courage to meet each moment and rise to the occasion of what is being called of us.
EMERGE is a community of practice designed to support you in the transition into the New Year with power and precision. It is an invitation to go inward and reflect on how we got here and what it’s going to take to heal. Over the five days that lead us into the new year, we will support you with daily movement practices, provocative journaling prompts, visioning tools and resources and LIVE community calls with Kerri and community to support and workshop whatever is in the way of possibility.
And the best part…you don’t have to leave home to retreat. This retreat is designed to meet you where you are in the comfort of your home and support an ongoing practice of healing and solidarity.
