Long time, no talk, John!

As one of the co-founders of March For Our Lives, I’ve spent a lot of time organizing young voters and fighting against the gun lobby over the past two years. We’ve done a lot of powerful and exciting things since Parkland and have learned so much along the way -- and I’m honored you’ve been in this fight with us. But now, we really need your help.

Every month, our friends at CREDO Mobile choose three organizations to make a donation to -- and supporters like you get to decide how much they give! The more votes we receive, the more funds they donate to us! We need as many votes as possible by 11:59pm on May 30th to secure the resources we need to keep pushing forward -- and show the NRA, the gun lobby, and their corrupt politicians that we have the momentum to win.

March For Our Lives is in the running to receive this donation not just because of everything we’ve accomplished over the past two years, but because of all the work we’re continuing to do -- like Our Power phone banks, the Poetic Justice book club, our Peace is Essential partnership, and the #ProtectOurVote coalition campaign. And as a grassroots organization, this donation would directly impact our work and give us the support we need to bulk up our digital advocacy programs, increase voter turnout, and take down the gun lobby.

Despite everything going on, I really hope you take the 60 seconds (or less, tbh) to vote for March For Our Lives this month. We know that peace can be a reality, we just need to fight for it. We’ve been putting in the work, and we’re not stopping anytime soon.
