While the challenges are significant, there is a lot in the world that is working. We see it through the programs of the Clinton Foundation that you help make possible. Work that has mobilized critical support for Ukraine and Sudan, provided vital pre- and perinatal support to new mothers, expanded access to clean energy in communities worldwide, and so much more. We have to continue to reject cynicism and refute those who would prefer the status quo. We can, and I would argue must, choose optimism.
