Last week, Lindsey challenged Rep. Jerry Nadler to a debate, which sparked interest from media outlets willing to host us. Lindsey sent a formal request to the Congressman’s office, but not surprisingly, we have yet to hear back from him. However, we’re hopeful that New Yorkers will have the opportunity to hear about Lindsey’s record of results, experience, and vision for the district on the debate stage before Election Day.

While Rep. Nadler may not want to show up for a debate, we’ve been finding new ways for Lindsey to show up for our community. Lindsey holds Coffee Hours on Facebook Live Tuesday mornings, Office Hours on Instagram Live Wednesday evenings, and Zoom Q&A sessions on Thursday evenings. We’ve had great attendance and look forward to continuing these virtual meetings until Election Day.

Rep. Nadler can’t ignore our groundbreaking campaign forever. In addition to the thousands of calls and texts we are making every week, we’ve also just sent our first mailer! In this mostly vote-by-mail election, ensuring Lindsey’s face and message are in voters’ mailboxes alongside their absentee ballot applications is going to be key to securing votes.

But, we need to continue full speed ahead for the remaining five weeks and we can’t do that without you. Many people are still confused about whether there is still a primary and how to vote safely. We have to work double time to make sure people know when and how to vote for Lindsey.
