This year, millions of Americans may be forced to choose between putting their health at risk or giving up their right to vote in one of the most important elections of our lives.
Unlike Pennsylvania voters, voters in some states can only cast a ballot in person. Voters in other states are required to provide a note from a doctor in order to vote by mail. That means millions of votes may never be cast.
A national vote-by-mail plan could change all of that. By giving every eligible voter in every state the chance to vote safely and securely from home, we can ensure that no American has to risk their health to exercise their rights.

Critical Senate races across the country will likely be decided only by a point or two on Election Day. In the presidential election, it's too early to tell what the map will look like in November.
This election could be decided not only by who votes but by who is prevented from voting by the pandemic and overly restrictive voting laws.
