Hurt and harm are central to the Republican strategy. As we head into the first 100 days, we know that Project 2025 isn’t a wish list. It’s a policy plan, a blueprint for how to destroy our democracy, freedoms, and rights— and it is Trump’s agenda.
That’s why I’m fighting back and doing everything possible to mitigate this harm while we still can.
That means pushing President Biden to grant clemency to thousands behind the wall so they can be reunited with their families and lives can be saved. That means pushing for the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment, so our rights are enshrined and protected. As we prepare for an incoming administration that has been openly hostile to reproductive freedom, access to health care, and LGBTQIA+ rights, this work is essential.
If they can legislate hurt and harm — we can legislate equity, healing, and justice.
