John,
Giving back to our communities is a crucial part of our progressive movement, so we’re working hard to provide support to thousands of community members who are in need of our generosity and collective help this holiday season.
We want to uplift local organizations in our Squad’s communities and the work they’re doing to support our neighbors — and we’ll share more of that work with you below. Will you split a contribution of any amount to these mutual aid organizations? 100% of the proceeds will go directly to these charities and their crucial work.Contribute ››
- The Immigrant Family Services Institute is a nonprofit organization based in Massachusetts committed to improving lives and increasing opportunities for recent immigrants and their families. They provide academic support to immigrant children, advocate for immigrant rights, and support finding alternative paths to citizenship.
- The Brightmoor Connection Food Pantry is a collaborative effort between nine churches and two organizations based in Detroit, Michigan determined to address food insecurity for their communities.
- Sapna NYC is a Bronx-based community organization that works with immigrant women and families in NYC addressing health inequities, fostering women’s empowerment, and building community power. Sapna’s Emergency Support Fund helps vulnerable community members with essential needs like food, housing, health, and safety.
- The Sabathani Community Center is one of Minnesota’s oldest African American-founded nonprofits. They are a multi-service organization delivering a comprehensive range of community-oriented services such as food shelves, clothing drives, social, recreational, and education opportunities for their Senior Program, workforce strategies — and much more.
We know that the holidays can be difficult for many, so a contribution of any amount will make a massive difference in these organization’s ability to continue supporting our neighbors. Even if you can give just $4 — one dollar to each of these organizations — it would mean so much to our movement.
