101 years ago today, the House passed the 19th Amendment and launched the legislative process that FINALLY gave women the vote.
Since then, women have been changing the face of American politics. Women outvoted men by 10 million in the last two presidential elections -- that’s twice the total number of votes cast in Michigan.
And in 2018, women running for Congress shattered glass ceilings across the country -- including Haley Stevens, who became the first Democrat in 50 years and the first woman EVER elected to represent Michigan’s 11th District.
