The worst part is that it’s not the first time. Back in 2017, the GOP passed a tax scam that overwhelmingly benefited the top 1% and blew a huge hole in the deficit. Working families were left to pick up the tab, and we’re still feeling the consequences. Now, they’re doubling down on their disastrous approach, planning to cut vital programs like Medicaid just to pay for another round of sweetheart deals for billionaires who jet around on private planes.
