for journalists and activists to track and fight back against
anti-American legislation Donald Trump plans to push on us.

This Congressional Watch Hub will join Courage Score and the Courage Voter
Guide as the foremost tools in California to hold politicians accountable
and educate voters about who’s standing up for them, and who’s shilling
for big money corporate interests.

Since 2015, the Courage Score has served a vital role in the state’s
social change community.

Each year, we work with over 100 progressive advocacy groups throughout
California, surveying them on their priority bills on issues ranging from
health care and housing to criminal justice and climate change.

The most progressive bills that pass by the narrowest margins are
evaluated in order to create Courage Score, a report card for our state
legislators. We also take into account money our representatives take and
how they align with their voters, which turns into a score for every
legislator and highlights All Stars and members of the Hall of Shame.

Now we’re going to take that same framework and careful research and keep
journalists, voters, and activists abreast of the Trump legislation moving
through Congress and how California can fight back.

It’s all part of our mission to educate Californians and help them hold
their elected officials accountable -- rewarding those who stand up for
their constituents and punishing those who side with deep-pocketed
corporate lobbyists. You can help us meet that mission, and every dollar
