As Wes’ finance director, my job is to ensure the campaign is on pace to reach our fundraising goals and have the funds we need to sustain our work.

Today, I’m going to ask you to make a donation to Wes. But before I do, let me tell you why our monthly goals are so important.

Every donation goes a long way to supporting Wes’s work, and they add up quickly.

Setting monthly goals and tracking our progress allows us to better understand where we are and prepare our budget. The more fundraising we can bring in month by month, the more it allows us to plan ahead, like for the upcoming fundraising freeze in January.

That’s why for December, we’re going to set an ambitious goal of raising $20,000 by December 31. As one of our most active supporters, I have to ask: Can you make your first contribution right now? Every donation is critical for our team.
