Our communications work is core to our success at Plastic Pollution Coalition. Every day, we amplify plastic pollution facts and actionable solutions so that together we can create a more just, equitable world free of plastic pollution and its toxic impacts. Our blogs, press articles, and social media posts reached millions of people in 2024. We are particularly proud of helping to bring the stories of frontline and fenceline community activists from Louisiana, Pennsylvania, and Texas to a broad audience this past year. These are stories that need to be told so that leaders and decision-makers learn about the true cost of plastic.
We expose corporate greenwashing and share truths about plastic pollution through all types of communications channels. We share critical information through creative posts and videos on our social media channels and website, and in blogs, reports, and scientific papers. We publish stories in high-level media outlets and do interviews with top journalists and on panels and public engagements.
Our Resource Library and Global Plastic Laws database house key knowledge to help researchers and policymakers solve this global crisis. Our monthly webinar series is another important way we bring together key voices on important aspects of the plastic pollution crisis.
