Calliope Hummingbird.
Don’t let birds disappear. Make 2X the impact before midnight. ([link removed])
Measuring about 3 inches long and weighing about one-tenth of an ounce, the Calliope Hummingbird is the smallest bird in North America. Despite its tiny size, this beloved bird is able to survive cold summer nights at high elevations in the northern Rockies, and some migrate every year from Canada all the way to southern Mexico. But one thing they might not be able to survive? The climate crisis. If climate change continues unchecked, 67% of this bird’s current breeding range could be lost.
Will you make an annual gift today while your first gift will be matched, thanks to a group of generous donors? Please be one of the 265 caring friends we’re counting on to join us before midnight to help bring birds back. ([link removed])

Our research identifies which birds are threatened, which habitats are most in need of protection, and which birds will most benefit from our efforts—findings that drive our expert on-the-ground conservation work. And where we work, birds are better off: The recovery of waterfowl and waterbird populations proves conservation effectiveness. From the Everglades to the Central Valley of California, our efforts and partnerships have made a positive impact.
