Dear John,

As the year draws to a close, I hope you will consider strengthening MPI’s work by making a donation that supports our efforts to make immigration and immigrant integration policy and systems more effective and humane during a pivotal, challenging period ahead.

As you know, MPI is a rare voice of pragmatism and reason in a highly polarized policy area. Day in, day out, we develop and share widely the essential data, high-quality analysis, and actionable policy ideas that bring knowledge to publics and options to policymakers and service providers. We also bring people together across ideological, political, and geographic boundaries to help forge new approaches to managing migration sensibly.

Our impact this year has been tangible:

* Combating misinformation in the U.S. debate through accessible, data-driven explainers; countless media interviews; and high-impact briefings.

* Helping re-imagine what a buckling humanitarian protection system could look like as the United States and other countries grapple with record protection needs while addressing mixed migration.

* Building collaboration across the Western Hemisphere to reduce irregular movement at borders and support countries that host significant displaced populations.

Strengthening immigrant integration and community success by focusing on how U.S. schools can better meet the needs of immigrants and their U.S.-born children, as well as how government agencies can address language barriers to their services and information.

We occupy a rare space: A resolutely nonpartisan, independent voice that works to generate successful outcomes for all sectors of society.

Join us in making a difference. Your gift today will help us meet the moment and expand our impact in 2025.

On behalf of my colleagues, I thank you for your engagement and send my warmest wishes for a great start to 2025.
