We believe in a future where everyone has a place to call home. Our vision is built on affordable housing, fair wages, accessible healthcare, and equality for all. The work to ending homelessness takes leadership—with elected officials, local leaders, funders, researchers, and people with lived expertise. This work requires us to listen to a diverse cohort of people affected by homelessness and use their insights to inform our strategy on what the evidence is telling us. It requires us to advocate for policy and programs that are informed by people with lived experience of homelessness and those on the ground doing the work. For these to be successful, we need the resources to put these policies and best practices into action.

We’ve seen when success looks like when best practices are implemented, and resources are available in communities. In Los Angeles, a city with one of the most intractable homelessness challenges in the nation, the number of unsheltered people in the city decreased by 10.4 percent between 2023 and 2024, and the first drop in overall homelessness in six years.

We believe that ending homelessness is achievable. We fight for the resources and policies that bring people home. We’ve seen the success of this work in the communities that are getting the access to resources they need.
