Abha felt betrayal throughout her childhood. Sexually abused by her stepfather at a young age, she became easy prey for a group of women traffickers who groomed her for the sex trade when she was just 13 years old. For two years she was sold to up to 30 men per day in private homes in Mumbai until, thankfully, IJM-trained police found and rescued her from the darkness.

Thanks to you, IJM was there to faithfully walk beside Abha on her difficult path to restoration.
