I hope you are staying safe at this difficult time.
On Brexit, so far, so good with the Prime Minister’s EU negotiator, David Frost. This week he published his clear but frank letter to Michel Barnier setting out how the UK position and how the EU is being totally unreasonable in its demands. I am always delighted to praise the Government when they are getting things right; on Brexit they are making all the right noises to date. However, history tells us that a last minute climb down is far from impossible. We must keep the pressure on the government.
On some other issues we have some real concerns, such as our relationship with China and Huawei, as well as illegal immigration via the English Channel. I have been busy in recent weeks on this.
