Don't swim in 💩 today, John

What better way to clear the cobwebs and shake off the past year, than launching yourself full pelt into the sea?

The mighty festive swim season is upon us. It’s about bringing communities together, embracing the elements and feeling alive as we dive into the new year.

But there’s a threat to this joyous occasion... And it comes in the form of human faeces floating towards you on the horizon. 💩💩💩💩💩

Last year, multiple festive dips had to be cancelled across the country due to sewage discharges. And this year, one of the biggest festive dips in Deal, Kent has already been called off because of poor bathing water designation.

The most sickening part? Water companies have been paying themselves big bonuses instead of fixing this mess. And now, they want to use bill payer money to bail themselves out of massive debt, while infrastructure continues to crumble.

If this makes your blood boil, you’re not alone. Sign our petition today to send a clear message to government as they amend the Water (Special Measures) Bill: We won’t stand for (or swim in) this sh*t.
