John -- It really feels like the wheels are coming off. Trump and Republicans are degrading faith in our elections, attacking states that expand vote-by-mail, and amassing a mob of supporters to stand “guard” at polling places across the country.
Election Day is right around the corner. It may feel like it’s far off but the work we do now will determine the outcome on the fateful day in November.
That’s why we are mobilizing now. Our grassroots movement to expand vote-by-mail is vital to defeating Trump.
To be completely honest, we’re worried. Even amid a pandemic handled disastrously by the President, he could still win re-election.
Trump sees his polling numbers plummet and in response threatens to withhold funding from states that expand vote-by-mail and assembles a team of 50,000 election “monitors” who will post up at polling places and potentially intimidate voters.
We can’t let Trump steal this election. Fight back by helping to expand vote-by-mail. We’re sending applications to voters in swing states to make sure they can vote safely at home in the 2020 general election. Even $5 or $10 will make a difference.
