Dear Texans,

As we gather together to cherish and celebrate the gift of Christmas, we remember that it is the most precious time of the year to reflect upon our blessings and be thankful for all that we have, including living in the greatest country in the history of the world, the United States of America.

I hope you enjoy the holiday season with family, friends, and loved ones. Let us not forget the reason for the season as we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
