Hey,
What do Florida, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Arizona have in common?
They’re all states that Donald Trump won in 2016 -- and that Joe Biden leads in now.
According to Biden campaign manager Jen O’Malley Dillon, “If we kept these numbers, and we kept them through November, that would put us at 318 electoral votes.”
That’s more than Trump got in 2016, and well beyond the 270 needed to win.
But Trump and his allies understand how dire their situation is -- and they’re fighting all the more ferociously now that they’ve been cornered. Trump is now implying Biden belongs in prison and has called for former president Barack Obama to testify before the GOP-held Senate because of unspecified crimes against the country. Trump’s “lock her up” rhetoric worked to win him the election last time -- it now looks like he’s bringing it back for Biden. And, as of the end of April, Trump has twice as much cash on hand, and he’ll use that money to manipulate voters in swing states across America.
With Trump pulling in aggressive conspiracy theories and mountains of campaign cash to turn around his losing streak, we need to know if engaged Democrats will stand strong against what comes next. Please, let us know:
