Dear Friend,

As we gather with loved ones this Christmas, let’s take a moment to reflect on the dignity and preciousness of human life and the great work being done around the country to make our country a more welcoming place for pregnant mothers and their unborn babies.

The tragedy of Ireland’s abortion law and the increase in abortions taking place motivates us even more to take a stand for life.

2024 has been a year where real progress was made and it’s important to acknowledge these gains as we work to turn the tide in a pro-life direction.

32 pro-life TDs were elected to Dáil Éireann in November. In June, 73 pro-life Councillors secured seats in the local elections. It is a wonderful achievement having more pro-life candidates elected in both elections than the time before. It shows what’s possible when people work hard and don’t give up. The candidates who put their names forward for election deserve most of the credit but every pro-life volunteer who contributed to the effort in any way should take a bow for what was achieved!

There is now a sufficiently strong pro-life presence in public life to push for the changes needed, that focus on reducing Ireland's soaring abortion rate. In 2025, we’ll work tirelessly to make sure these changes happen, regardless of which parties or individuals make up the new government.

Sincere thanks for all your support and efforts in 2024. We look forward to working with you in the New Year as we work together to achieve our goals.
