Dear Patriot,
"Give me Christmas. If It's good enough for Jesus, its good enough for me."
That’s what my grandfather, Izzy, said to the immigration officer at Ellis Island, when he was asked for his date of birth.
You see, my grandfather didn’t know his birthday. Because he hailed from a small village in the Ukraine where birth records weren’t kept.
So when he arrived in America, he chose Our Savior’s birthday as his own.
What a wonderful way to start a new life here in America!
I’ll be thinking of my grandfather, and of you this Christmas.
I’m deeply grateful for all your fervent prayers and generous support.
