At the end, I’m going to ask you for a modest $14, but I’m hoping you’ll hear me out first.
I was raised in rural poverty by a single mother on food stamps. My mom did everything to make ends meet, and taught me and my brother that our poverty wouldn’t define us. She taught us that if we worked hard, we could make something of ourselves and be someone we could be proud of.
So, with that in mind, at age 18, I joined the Navy.
It’s hard to sum up everything I learned in my time in our military, but here are a few key points: - Seeing countries all over the world taught me how great America really is, and I had a new appreciation for what I was protecting
- Ineffectual leadership from politicians like Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton can lead to grave consequences and cost American lives
- Public service is the best way to effect real change in the world – whether it’s on the global stage or even just in your local community
After 26 years and 5 combat deployments, I retired as a Navy SEAL Senior Chief. But I was called back to public service when I saw what the Biden-Harris Administration and Nancy Pelosi were doing to our country – moving our country’s policies closer to the countries I fought in and further from what our Founders built.
The first time I ran for Congress I lost. But I’m not the type to accept defeat and go home with my tail between my legs.
I dusted myself off, ran again, and this time – I won. And I've defended this seat and our shared values ever since.
My mom and my service taught me self-reliance, but I’ll be frank… I can’t keep on without your help. The money these Democrats are raising is terrifying, and we have to band together if we want to fix the disaster they've created. This isn’t about you or me, Patriot – this about our country.
