Celebrating Our Savior!

At Christmas, people all over the world pause to remember the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We gather with family, exchange gifts, and hopefully read the Christmas story from the Bible (Luke 2:1-20<[link removed]>). It’s a day of celebration!
In 1950, President Harry Truman<[link removed]> reminded the nation of the importance of Christmas.

Many have forgotten the humble surroundings of the nativity and how, from a straw-littered stable, shone a light which for nearly 20 centuries has given men strength, comfort, and peace. At this Christmastime we should renew our faith in God. We celebrate the hour in which God came to man.
Ronald Reagan also discussed the meaning of Christmas in a 1982<[link removed]> address:

In this holiday season, we celebrate the birthday of One Who, for almost 2,000 years, has been a greater influence on humankind than all the rulers, all the scholars, all the armies and all the navies that ever marched or sailed, all put together. He brought to the world the simple message of peace on Earth, good will to all mankind...For many of us it’s [a] holy day, the birthday of the Prince of Peace, a day when “God so loved the world” that He sent us His only begotten Son to assure forgiveness of our sins.

Let's take time this Christmas as we celebrate our Savior, Jesus Christ, to remember His first coming and anticipate His return! From all of us at WallBuilders, Merry Christmas!

I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
(Luke 2:10-11, NKJV)
