As we continue to prepare for Donald Trump’s second term in office, I want to assure you that NILC will do everything in our power to support immigrant communities.

NILC has taken action to defend the rights of low-income immigrants and their families for over 40 years. We successfully fought Trump every step of the way during his first term, and we are ready to do it again. Especially since the threats he’s making against our communities are even more extreme. He plans to deport families that include US citizen children, use the military to carry out mass deportations and create internment camps.

We must beat back his attacks with the same resilience and solidarity that we demonstrated during the first Trump administration to fight against the Muslim bans, protect DACA recipients in court, and put an end to the racially motivated public charge wealth test.

Having adequate resources to challenge unjust laws, build and strengthen our movement, and advocate for inclusive policies will be essential to advancing immigrants’ rights and equity for all.

We are in this fight together. So, before the year ends, my request of you is simple: will you make a donation to fuel our efforts to forcefully fight back against the attacks President-elect Trump is already signaling his administration will move forward on come January? With your continued support, we will rise to meet every challenge and injustice facing immigrant families.
