Hi John ,

As we wrap up 2024 and head into 2025, we're thinking a lot about the seven principles of Kwanzaa:

Umoja (Unity)
Kujichagulia (Self-Determination)
Ujima (Collective Work and Responsibility)
Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics)
Nia (Purpose)
Kuumba (Creativity)
Imani (Faith)

Kwanzaa is a week-long secular celebration of African American culture, history, and values that takes place for seven days, from December 26th to January 1st.

It is a time to reflect on achievements, promote unity, and recommit to cultural ideals.

We're spending time reflecting on our own achievements here at NPP, and we wanted to share seven of them with you:

Seven 2024 achievements we're celebrating:

1. Since 2021 we, along with the affiliated New PA Project Education Fund, have assisted more than 48,000 Pennsylvanians in registering to vote

2. In 2024, NPP and NPPEF assisted more than 13,000 Pennsylvanians in registering to vote.

3.  78% of voters self-identified as belonging to a community of color.

4. Developed over 50 partnerships with like-minded community organizations!

5. More than 46 virtual and in-person community events, including candidate forums, town halls, community conversations, and webinars.

6. Expanded year-round voter registration, civic education and mobilization in a total of 20 counties.

7. Knocked 55,320 doors in the two weeks before Election Day, exceeding out initial goals!

That's a whole lot of gratitude right there. We couldn't do it without you.

We hope you keep your loved ones close this holiday season. Rest up and take it easy - there's a lot to get ready for in 2025.

Whether you celebrate Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Christmas, or the New Year, we wish you and your family the best for the holidays to come!
