John, don’t let
yourself be a Grinch about this past year.

Sure, we’ve had our ups and downs, but in our very first full year as an
organization, we elected seven incredible candidates to office.

In 2024, we elected Sarah McBride to the U.S. House of Representatives,
Molly Cook to the Texas State Senate, Dante Pittman to the North Carolina
House of Representatives, Bryce Berry to the Georgia House of
Representatives, Oscar De Los Santos to the Arizona House of
Representatives, and Christine Cockley to the Ohio House of
Representatives. In 2023, we elected Nadarius Clark to the Virginia House
of Delegates.

Change will never come from the top down, it comes from the grassroots
work we’re doing right now. Electing these incredible candidates is one of
the best ways to build a better future, and to fight back at the ground
level against a Trump administration.

You were an incredibly important part of those victories, and you’re an
incredibly important part of the work yet to come.

As you gather with friends and family to celebrate this holiday season, I
hope you take a second to celebrate what you’ve contributed to this
movement — because I know I am.

Cheers to 2025, and the work ahead. Thanks for doing it alongside me.
