At re:power, we know a single race won’t make or break our work. That’s why we are committed to shifting our movement’s culture from its focus on election cycles to a longer arc of power-building that will require multiyear strategies and developing generations of leaders.
As organizers our job is to help our communities see how their lives will improve when they join the movement to shape, protect, and expand our vision of a multiracial liberated Democracy. We know at re:power that anyone is only as effective as their training prepares them to be. BIPOC progressives fighting for a multiracial democracy are no different.
From coaching newly elected officials through our Progressive Governance Academy to bolstering the skills of digital organizers on the virtual frontier, re:power is working to prepare new leaders with the skills they need to organize for the long haul.
It’s a long and hard journey towards the multiracial liberated Democracy we deserve. We can’t get there without you.
